Craft Inn Open for England's Curtain Raiser
Sunday 10th June 2018
Like many of you, World Cup fever has gripped us here at Craft Inn and we can't wait for football's biggest spectacle to get underway.
England start their campaign against Tunisia, on Monday 18th June. A day that we would usually be closed.
However, we've decided to open our doors for those looking to enjoy a quality beer with the match. Let's just hope the action on the pitch can match the quality of the beer!
Those interested in watching the game just need to pay £20 for a ticket, with the ticket granting you that money back in the form of a bar tab for the match.
Tickets can be purchased by clicking here or by purchasing in the shop itself ahead of the game.
The game kicks off at 7pm, but we'll be open from 5pm for ticket holders all the way through to full time.
We'll be open for every other England game as normal as Gareth Southgate's men look to reach the knockout stages.
Snacks will be available from our bar and you're also more than welcome to order in a pizza or whatever else you fancy to enjoy during the game.
Tunisia are currently 21st in the FIFA World rankings, nine places below the Three Lions and one place higher than the side who knocked England out of Euro 2016 Iceland.
The two sides have only met once before in their history, with England picking up a 1-0 victory at World Cup 1998 courtesy of goals from Alan Shearer and Paul Scholes.
After the opener against Tunisia, the Three Lions face Panama on Sunday 24th June at 1pm before taking on Group G favourites Belgium on Thursday 28th June at 7pm.
We're taking particular interest in the final group game as we have a huge range of English and Belgian beers in the shop, so it will be fascinating to see who wins the battle of the beer.
For those not interested in England, we'll also be showing every other game of the World Cup during our regular opening hours.
